Ferdinand Georg Frobenius (1849 - 1917)

Ferdinand Georg Frobenius was born on 26 October 1849 in Berlin-Charlottenburg, Prussia (now Germany). Georg Frobenius combined results from the theory of algebraic equations, geometry, and number theory, which led him to the study of abstract groups, the representation theory of groups and the character theory of groups. Ferdinand Georg Frobenius died on 3 August 1917 in Berlin, Germany.
