Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann (1826 - 1866)

Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann was born on 17 September 1826 in Breselenz, Hanover (now Germany). Bernhard Riemann’s ideas concerning geometry of space had a profound effect on the development of modern theoretical physics. He clarified the notion of integral by defining what we now call the Riemann integral. Georg Friedrich Bernhard Riemann died on 20 July 1866 in Selasca, Italy.
