Jason John Nassau was born on 29 March 1893 in Smyrna, (now Izmir) Turkey. Jason J Nassau studied at Columbia and Syracuse Universities in New York State. After service in World War I he spent some time in Edinburgh. He became Professor of Astronomy at Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland Ohio. He published papers in both mathematics and astronomy. Jason John Nassau died on 11 May 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
