Lipót Fejér was born on 9 February 1880 in Pécs, Hungary. Fejér’s main work was in harmonic analysis working on Fourier series and their singularities. Fejér collaborated to produce important papers with Carathéodory on entire functions and with Riesz on conformal mappings. Lipót Fejér died on 15 October 1959 in Budapest, Hungary.
